You forgot to hyperlink the image for the Bathroom set post, clicking it just leads to the jpg. I'll thank you to only bludgeon me gently with that axe you're thinking of using next time I point something out. ;)

    1. Nice pics! The objects and poses i'm working on look something like the machine in your pics, but are a little bit different. Hopefully I'll be able to motivate on some projects for my adult blog soon.

  4. Your Modular Furniture Series 4 set is so amazing! I've just downloaded pretty much everything, and I'm off to load the game to set up my latest neighbourhood, which will feature a bunch of Maxis/EA sims travelling into space and living in a space station on another planet. I wouldn't be able to play it without all of your amazing creations, so thank you so much!

And I'm really looking forward to the other sets you have planned for this series - especially stuff for kids and hobby stuff! :-)

    1. Hi there! Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like the set, and thanks for the great feedback. I haven't been feeling really inspired in a while and I haven't uploaded on either blog in about four weeks, but hopefully I'll start working on my projects again soon and I'll make a few more modular sets.

  5. Hi J!
How are you old friend? How's life and the family?

I was looking for something unique in columns to use in a modern lot and my search led me here. You've still got that magic touch! I thought everything you did back in the day was brilliant, but little did I know that you would evolve so beautifully! Your creations are so detailed and refined. It's like getting a custom built car straight from the factory! I kid you not, I am in awe and damned impressed.

Just wanted to say 'Hi' and 'Thanks for the columns'! See you around. :)

*Jason gets back up after several minutes, still stunned* Steph! How are you, sister?

Life is relatively good at this point. The family is doing well. Nothing to report.

It's been a while since my SimTrek days. It seems like I learn something new from every project, even after all of these years. At the time, I thought my old MTS and SimTrek projects were well done, but I compare them with what I've made recently, and there's definitely an improvement. I'm glad you've found a use for the columns; just remember that as they're repository objects, you'll need to package the bed base either in the lot or separately to keep them from reverting to the flashing blue in game. I look forward to seeing how you put them to use; your lots are always ultra-detailed and amazing. Take care for now, and fire me a link when you have the lot done.

  6. I was wondering why you said "Hello Again!" Then, I realized I posted in the wrong area! lol

Sorry about the double post. Thanks for the heads up about the master file. You would laugh to see how I have your objects all sprawled out in-game just to play around with them. It's Christmas in July for sure! I'll check back in a few days as I left you a request in the other post. Ha ha! I would return the favor, but you are so the wall designer these days and don't need me for that for sure! But I do recolor objects independently now F.Y.I. Anywho...TTYL.

    1. No worries. There is no "wrong area"; I'm always glad to hear from you.

I can just imagine you sorting through the four-hundred-and-some-change objects in this massive superset, looking for just the right one. Most of the modular objects were designed to be stacked together, so for a seasoned lot-builder, the possibilities must be limitless. Be sure to check out the recolor threads. I took the fuggly original base textures and applied the ACYL and Yeti palettes, for infinitely more variety.

I like the idea of your fireplace. It's kind of out of the box. It breaks the monotony of adult posebox, accessory set, posebox, adult posebox, accessory set, posebox. I think it would work as a single object, that can fit in a 4x1 niche, and with the quarter-round and the boxy wood bit as the recolorable materials. From there, I can add a few slots to the top of the object for vases and bawbees, and maybe another in front of the wood, for the artsy-fartsy hanging. From there, it would be child's play to flip the whole thing in Milkshape, then slave the new object, so essentially what you have is two mirrored fireplaces that pull the same recolors. Can't say when I'll have it done, but I'd be happy to have a crack at it.

  7. Oh my Brother,
You are totally fantastic! This is truly proof of your growth. I asked you for a simple box and you are going to give me a bit of magic. I trust your design judgement my friend. And take your time, I have a ton of recolors to do for my little personal project and the lot design is only in my head at the moment as I finish other things. Here's my public e-mail to prevent clogging your thread when the time comes: stephsimail@yahoo.com . I appreciate this.

BTW, I wanted to sincerely say "Thank you" for your friendship and support in the past. It has meant more to me than you know. juppu' ngo' maH SoH jIH je

Back to manipulating your downloads in my game, bending them to my will!
